Key Responsibilities
As a long haul truck driver with V4U Logistic Inc., you will be tasked with a range of duties to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of goods. Your responsibilities include:

Driving long-haul trucks in convoy or as part of a two-person team.

Loading and unloading goods and ensuring their security throughout the journey.

Operating straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.

Inspecting the vehicle for any mechanical issues before, during, and after the trip.

Ensuring compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.

Tarping cargo and handling hazardous materials with the utmost care.

Providing excellent customer service by addressing concerns and complaints.

Performing preventive maintenance and emergency roadside repairs when necessary.

Keeping track of hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Required Qualifications and Skills

AZ Class Driver’s License (mandatory for the position)

Ability to operate both straight and articulated trucks

Strong knowledge of driving safety protocols, including emergency procedures

Good physical condition, with the ability to handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks

Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to interact with dispatchers and customers

Strong attention to detail to ensure the vehicle and cargo are in optimal condition

Previous experience in driving, although not required, will be an asset
